Welcome to 2015! Before moving through our current selection, take a step back through our short 2015 wallpaper recap in the new year posting from last week. Moving forward, we are looking at another long year of wallpapers, starting with a celebration of the cold coming winter months.

In the northern hemisphere, winter just recently started on December 21. Temperatures have been erratic, at best, but the cold chill is starting to finally move in. Hobbit Stays Box Office Champ for 3rd Straight Weekend

North Americans audiences returned to Middle-earth again this weekend to keep The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in first place at the domestic box office for the third week in a row.

The Hobbit three-peated at No. 1 with an estimated $21.9 million. Its domestic total now stands at $220.8 million for a worldwide tally of $678.6 million.

The weekend’s only major new release was The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, which debuted in fourth place with an estimated $15.1 million. That’s ahead of studio estimates from Relativity, which reportedly acquired the horror sequel for $1 million.
