Google brings custom snooze times and other perks to Inbox by Gmail

Google Inbox 1.0 for iOS (iPhone screenshot 001)

Inbox, a gesture-heavy, sleek looking email client for the iPhone by the Gmail team born out of Google’s acquisition of the Sparrow app, is getting new features later today.

Among them: custom snooze times for your messages. Normally, Inbox lets you snooze messages you don’t necessarily need to act right now using its built-in snooze options: Evening, Tomorrow, Next Week and Someday.

But sometimes a message wants to be snoozed until a specific date and time. This is now possible thanks to new features letting you customize your morning, afternoon and evening Snooze times in Inbox, Google said Tuesday. This new feature, along with other enhancements listed further below, is rolling out to Inbox later today…. Read the rest of this post here

PS4 and PS3 Consoles Getting Spotify App Today

Sony has announced its new co-venture with Spotify – dubbed PlayStation Music – is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles in 41 markets.

First announced earlier this year, the app will be automatically downloaded upon booting up your console. You won’t need a premium Spotify account or PS Plus subscription in order to use it so, as long as you have a console, it’ll be free. As with other versions of the service, opting to buy a premium account removes adverts and increases the quality of songs.

Watch the Trailer for Kevin Smith Biopic Shooting Clerks

The crowdfunded biopic focused on the making of Kevin Smith’s Clerks has a trailer.

Announced last month, Shooting Clerks tells the story of Smith’s extraordinary journey to get his iconic low-budget film made back in 1994. The movie was crowdfunded on IndieGoGo by Kevin Smith fans Christopher Downie and Brett Murray, and is now set to premiere in September. Smith himself endorses the film, and will provide narration.

The trailer is a hell of a lot of fun, riffing on that very familiar Smith-esque style. Check it out below.

Free DLC Cars Will Be Added to Project CARS Each Month

Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed that players of its upcoming crowdfunded racing sim Project CARS will receive a series of free DLC vehicles in the months following the game’s release.

The first cab off the rank, so to speak, is one of the most exclusive and expensive cars ever made – the W Motors Lykan Hypersport.

“We are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle,” said creative director Andy Tudor on the Project CARS website. “The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we’ll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game. We’ll have more info on the full schedule of further content for Project CARS soon but we hope that this is a great sneak peek of just one way in which Project CARS is going to expand in the future.”

“What happened to the sibling?” Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady asks Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing.

“She ate it”, replies Dearing.

Check out the spot below.
