Couria is now available for free on Cydia

Couria

Couria, the popular quick reply and quick compose tweak that’s been in beta for iOS 8, is now available on the BigBoss repo. It brings with it a few new features that weren’t available in the beta version, but much of the tweak will be very familiar to beta testers. If you’ve been dying for a capable quick reply and quick compose tweak in light of biteSMS’ demise, then Couria may be just what the doctor ordered…. 12 Monkeys: Season Finale Review

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.

12 Monkeys Producer on Season 1’s Finale and Where Season 2 Will Go

I knew the season finale of this show was going to be epic, but “Arms of Mine” was just insane. So much happened that I really needed a few days to process it. To come full circle from the pilot, I think that like that first episode, the show could’ve used another hour to let some of these revelations breathe, but I guess that’s what the next nine months are for. Sorry, I know that’s a serious bummer. And we have to do our time travel one day at a time like suckers.

Razer Blade (2015) Review

PC gamers are a demanding bunch. We want our platform to be quiet, powerful, and good-looking, but we often (gladly) trade some style points for sheer horsepower. With its updated Blade laptop, Razer lets you have all three with little sacrifice: this 0.7″ notebook is loaded with premium hardware, making it one of the most portable and powerful gaming laptops we’ve ever tested.

The Razer Blade has actually been around for a few years, but it’s been regularly upgraded with new parts to keep it on the cutting edge of technology. This version sports a few major upgrades that almost make it an entirely new laptop compared to previous incarnations. The biggest upgrade is in the GPU department, as it’s now rocking the all-new GTX 970M Maxwell GPU from Nvidia with 3GB of RAM. Razer claims the addition of this new GPU allows for a 50% performance increase compared to the Kepler-based GTX 870M used in the previous model. Nvidia also claims the mobile variants of the GTX 970 are just 25% slower than the full-figured desktop part.

First impressions: going hands-on with Apple Watch

Apple Watch faces CNET 002

Apple opened up pre-orders for Apple Watch earlier this morning, and although these won’t ship until April 24, the company has outfitted its store with hands on areas where you can try on Apple Watch, and get to have a feel for what it’s like to hold the future on your wrist.

After making an appointment at my local Apple Store, I was able to try two different models, and play with one of the Apple Watches that were available for everybody to play with. These are my first impressions of Apple Watch after going hands on with a Stainless Steel with Leather Loop band, and a Space Gray aluminum with white sport band, as well as the various working units they had on display…. Apple approaching Taylor Swift and other artists for deals to promote Beats Music

Best music app 2014

Apple has asked Taylor Swift and more than a dozen other artists for exclusive deals to promote its incoming revamped Beats Music service, reports Bloomberg. The company hopes that such deals, particularly with Swift—who has pulled her music from other services—will help attract new users in the increasingly crowded streaming music space.

The move is similar to that of Tidal, the Jay-Z-owned cloud music service that launched earlier this month, and could be the start of a new trend in the space. Artists have long been fed-up with tech firms like Spotify, Pandora and others who pay them the minimum royalty rate, and seem to finally be ready to take matters into their own hands…. Trek 3 Reportedly Casts Kingsman Femme Fatale

Actress Sofia Boutella, who played the blade-legged baddie Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service, has reportedly nabbed the female lead in Star Trek 3.

Deadline said they don’t know whether Boutella’s role is a hero or a villain in the Justin Lin-directed sequel.

Past reports claimed there would be three new female characters in the next Trek movie: the ex-wife of Doctor “Bones” McCoy, the President of the United Federation of Planets, and a Starfleet ship’s captain who is “being set up as Kirk’s match.”
